Computerized Technical Drawing (Week 3)

Well, today I learned more in-depth about photoshop by utilizing the brush tools and how to control it. In this week, I started to learn how to make a mood board by using "Gothic" as the theme. Truthfully, there are lots of tools that we need to understand and know how to use it. I just realized that it is so difficult to master in photoshop. In this case, I tried to make a moodboard by myself to practice how to use the tools that I learned today.

I took "feather" as my theme and I did search for runway model pictures who wear a feather garments. For the colour scheme, it is more dominant to various colour of blue, white, and black, while there is only a little bit of pink and red. This is a simpe moodboard that I did just to ensure that I understand how to use all the tools. By trying this, I found it is hard to find a picture with high resolution so that it could fix the whole paper.

Well, I am curious about the photoshop shortcuts, therefore I did some research about what are the shortcuts for photoshop. Basically, they are all what I learned, but there are two shortcut that impressed me the most. The shortcut that I knew for copy and paste was the same with Microsoft Word which is Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V respectively, then I just read that there is another shortcut for copy and paste which is by pressing F3 for copy and F4 for paste. Nevertheless, all I got after pressing both keys was that I volume up the sound and close the photoshop. I just realized that it is because I'm using a laptop which is a volume up button for F3 and a close button for F4. I don't know whether it is true or not, but I will try it next week when I go into class.

Thank you for reading!
